Coil Pot
This is a pinch pot I made with a small imprint of a 2B pencil dented into the very bottom.

Picture_008[1] This is a coil pot, with a slightly different shape than my pinch pot. The top rim has a triangular shape, while the bottom stays circular.

EXHI003828P_600 While working with clay, we were also learning about the work of Albert Giacometti. He was part of the inspiration for our projects. He would use different materials to make his universal figures. The figures would be tall, a narrow, either just standing there, walking, or doing something simple.

Gabriel Orozco was also part of the inspiration for our projects. He would work with clay to make various figures. Gabriel Orozco also split a car into three parts, then put the outer two back together. Above, you can see how he put together numerous soccer balls to create a sequence as if it were moving.
